A regional corporate bank in Singapore is actively expanding its presence and is currently seeking an experienced Credit Risk professional to join the risk management department.

Reporting directly to the local Chief Risk Officer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the bank's risk management strategies in the Singapore market. They will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing credit risk assessment processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and identifying opportunities to enhance risk mitigation practices. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a substantial impact on the bank's growth and reputation in the region while working closely with a dynamic team of professionals. In return, you will be commensurate with an attractive total salary of up to S$120,000 per annum.

You will be expected to:

- Conduct independent reviews of credit proposals and transaction requests to ensure alignment with the Bank's risk appetite, internal credit policies, and adherence to relevant regulatory requirements.
- Uphold the quality of credit proposals, ensuring the accuracy of information and conducting thorough analysis.
- Proactively identify potential risk concerns and present mitigating actions.
- Perform regular quarterly/half-yearly/yearly credit reviews for existing clients.
- Continuously monitor the portfolio's health and take proactive measures to control risks.
- Participate in departmental system implementation efforts, including involvement in user requirement gathering and user-acceptance testing.

**Requirements**:

- Hold a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity.
- Exhibit meticulousness and adept problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in change management, system testing, implementation, and project management would be advantageous.
- Capable of working well under pressure and meeting strict deadlines.
- Self-motivated, self-disciplined, organized, responsible, meticulous, and skilled at multitasking.
