Production cum Maintenance Technician (Paper & Plastic Manufacturing)

JOB DESCRIPTION: Setting up and adjustment of paper converting machines and other packaging machine daily as well as performing adjustment / breakdown and preventive maintenance whenever necessary

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Set up production machine, supplies and packaging machines safely and effectively for operators to execute job orders
- Maintain and organise proper storage of spare parts, tools and to keep proper record of work done
- Ensure that machine are maintained in good and safe working condition
- Repair and clean machine when needed
- Perform regular preventive maintenance to ensure production capacity & quality
- Evaluate machine performance and recommend improvement
- Inspect machine to identify any replacement, malfunction, repairs and souce for replacement parts when needed
- Co-ordinate with Production Supervisor for production Planning & Scheduling
- Assist in other areas of production where necessary
- Required to work Overtime where necessary

ABILITY/COMPETENCY REQUIRED
- NITEC, Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical / Mechatronics Engineering
- Understanding of mechanical, electrical & Pneumatic systems is essential
- Good troubleshooting knowledge
- Understanding of maintenance process & methods with working knowledge of common tools & devices
- Team player & ability to communicate, interact with all concerned parties
- Positive attitude in challenging work environment and pro-active.
- Preferably with some experience in similar capacity or job role

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $1,800.00 - $2,800.00 per month

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- 13th month salary
- Attendance bonus
- Overtime pay
- Performance bonus
- Yearly bonus
