National Gallery Singapore is a leading visual arts institution which oversees the world’s largest public collection of Singapore and Southeast Asian modern art. In 2020, the Gallery was the only museum in Southeast Asia that received a ranking in The Art Newspaper’s annual global survey of attendance at art museums, taking 20th place. It was the first museum in Asia to receive the Children in Museums Award by the European Museum Academy and Hands On International Association of Children in Museums in 2018. The Gallery also won the awards for “Best Theme Attraction” at TTG Travel Awards 2017, “Best Attraction Experience”, “Breakthrough Contribution to Tourism” and “Best Customer Service (Attractions)” at the prestigious Singapore Tourism Awards in 2016 for its role in adding to the vibrancy of Singapore’s tourism landscape.

DESIGNATION : Business Process Analyst - 1 Year Contract

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify improvement potential within finance, procurement and administration operations, and discuss improvement opportunities with the various process owners.
- Create and maintain a register of improvement opportunities and discuss with management cost vs. benefit, timeline and feasibility of implementation.
- Decide on priorities and select initiatives to implement.
- Oversees and approves changes to business process flow and IT development of enabling customisations.
- Project manager for IT implementation project (Planning and leading project team).
- Coordinate and work closely to lead process owners to refine workflow.
- Project manager for subsequent system implementations.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven track record in Project Implementation, Change Management, Business Process Improvements, Continuous Improvement, Lean Management projects or similar
- Knowledge of Lean Management (or similar) principles and related tools
- Very good knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
- Self-motivated, resourceful, analytical, independent, and meticulous
- Team player with strong communication skills is preferred
- Initiative, analytical skills and resourcefulness in tackling responsibilities
- Sense of urgency and a can-do attitude
