Manufacturing Execution System

- As part of the site Automation team, you will have System Owner accountabilities for Syncade Manufacturing Execution System (MES), maintaining roadmaps and lifecycle plans, developing proposals, managing related backlogs, leading and/or participating in Build/Run, and ensuring the support of Product Transfers and Make/Assess/Release in a 24x7 Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) environment. As part of the Site Team and larger Global Automation organization, you will also be expected to contribute to Manufacturing Operations Management initiatives and optimization/standardization.**Key Responsibilities**
- Co-create MES strategy and roadmap with business partners (Business Process Owner/Manager, Site Stakeholders and MES Core Product Owner)
- Represent and mitigate MES dependencies as related global systems evolve their business processes and technologies (e.g., SAP upgrade)
- Supporting Automation team on DeltaV DCS software modifications and testing
- Work to identify opportunities to create additional value and improve business processes and patient outcomes, maximize the benefits of standardization of technologies and leverage across sites.
- Determine business criticality and product quality requirements, and in collaboration with MES Team, ensure appropriate service levels, Disaster Recovery procedures, governance, change management, compliance and operational support.
- Lead or coordinate technical discussions with vendor.
- MES System owner include Application, Infrastructure and database.

**Minimum requirements**
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent
- 10+ years of experience implementing and managing MES solutions, highly desirable Emerson Syncade. Experience with Syncade Manufacturing Execution System, MES integration with enterprise systems like Data Historian, ERP etc.
- Good experience with DeltaV DCS Systems with physical as well as batch system
- Knowledge of new product introduction, supply chain and manufacturing operations as applicable to MES.
- Biopharmaceutical or similar Manufacturing domain.
- Keep abreast of key Manufacturing IT trends and be curious - Industrial IoT, Manufacturing Digital Plant Maturity, Cybersecurity, Pharma 4.0, Data Integrity principles, technology, and data standardization, etc.
- Hands on with Syncade Suite of Applications deployment for pharma, and expertise in Syncade.
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), 21 CFR Part 11,cGMP Annex 11, Data Integrity principles.
