This position will provide significant support to the APAC Development Director, particularly in the areas of projects relating to developing franchise sales pipeline to support consistent Net Restaurant Growth (NRG) throughout the year. This role will support the lead qualification process, assisting the respective BD/SMO teams across the APAC region. This role will also support Franchise Sales with administrative duties related to franchise sales/development activities. The position will also have a working knowledge of sales databases / pipeline and preparing sales activity reports, as required. This position will assist all aspects of lead generation for the APAC Development Team. Provide support to Development Director via business research and data analysis to support commercial decisions. Maintain relationship with external partners and stakeholders relating to Development team goals, such as media agencies, trade associations, industry partners. This role will also hold ownership of internal Development team processes to support Development Director in keeping track of restaurant opening and closures across the APAC region, and assist in developing strategies to provide targeted support to respective markets.
- FRANCHISEE ONBOARDING SUPPORT - To work with stakeholders from respective APAC markets (e.g. Franchise Services Team, Coordinators) to support the franchisee onboarding process, by overseeing documentation processes required and providing necessary troubleshooting to successfully onboard franchisees into the franchise system.
- DEVELOPMENT ANALYSIS - Conduct desktop research and data analysis using both internal and external tools to support APAC Development Director in areas such as: gathering background information of a prospective market/partner, reviewing business performance of existing regional Development Agents or Franchisees, conducting analysis on the effectiveness of restaurant locations/formats. To also provide these findings to support Master Franchise / GTM efforts.
- INTERNAL REPORTING AND PROCESSES MANAGEMENT - Keep track of Subway Development team's key KPI for the entire APAC region, and to flag out individual markets that might require additional support or resources in order to meet yearly development targets.
- DEVELOPMENT - Nurture relationships with existing franchisees and support their new store development plans. Act as brand ambassador for the company. On-going personal development through continuous learning (CFE). Support development team as needed with other projects as part of organization growth.
- LEGAL - To work with Subway legal team for routine performance review of DA and MFA against contractual performance targets, and to facilitate contractual enforcement efforts as necessary
- DIGITAL MARKETING - To conceptualize and run digital franchisee recruitment campaigns across APAC markets to drive franchise sales and ensure consistent pipeline of New Restaurant Opening (NRO), contributing directly to maintaining strong Net Restaurant Growth (NRG)
Skills, Abilities, Qualification and Experience
- At least a functional understanding of software programs required to perform the above responsibilities: Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote and Sharepoint, as well as Dropbox, Tableau, Salesforce, etc. Additional training to improve familiarity with these softwares will be arranged as required.
- Tertiary level Qualification. Working knowledge of current industry sales management practices, approaches, tools, resources and skill sets vital to all aspects of Franchise Development.
- Experience in managing one-on-one and small groups.
- High degree of detail orientation and ability to work within time constraints. Must have strong organizational skills, multi-tasking skills, possess attention to detail, and should be able to work in a fast paced environment. Must be able to adapt to different situations and personalities, while maintaining a degree of personal integrity, utilizing problem solving skills.
- Must be able to work well independently to complete projects in a timely manner. Must also be able to be able to work well with others on team project.
- Willingness to travel if/when necessary.
3-5 yrs experience in similar or relative industry
