About the role
We are seeking a passionate recent graduate to join our dynamic team at New Ark Consulting. In this position, you will learn from the best and play a crucial part in supporting our clients' accounting needs, contributing to the overall success of our growing accounting practice.
What you'll be doing
- Perform a range of bookkeeping duties, including data entry, account reconciliation, and financial reporting
- Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Liaise with clients to gather financial information and address any queries or concerns
- Collaborate with the wider accounting team to ensure the timely and accurate completion of client work
- Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and best practices
- Provide support as needed to maintain good client relationships
Who we're looking for
- Recent graduate from university or polytechnic, with a passion in professional accounting / auditing career
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients and colleagues
- Fast learner and Self starter, Eager to learn and excel in whatever they do
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines
