**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in a recognised university in the disciplines of Arts & Social Sciences, Mass Communications or Marketing.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate communications including media and marketing communications, social media and events management
- Excellent communication and writing skills in English
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with an eye for details
- Possess creative flair in design and production of corporate and marketing collaterals
- A team player and collaborator who is effective in fostering close working relationships across all organisational levels
- Personable, resourceful and a self-starter with a high degree of energy, initiative and drive

With the robust global shipping market and positive industry outlook, Pacific International Lines (PIL) is working to strengthen its brand and reputation as part of its continuous efforts to drive business and operational excellence.

PIL’s Corporate Communications team was reinforced in August 2021 with the joining of an experienced corporate communications professional as head of the team. We plan to further expand the team, and are seeking an energetic and driven corporate communications professional to join us.

The role supports the General Manager, Corporate Communications in all aspects of corporate and internal communications to achieve the corporate and business objectives of PIL, with the following specific responsibilities:
**a) Corporate Communications**

**i) Media Engagement**
- Prepare and disseminate media releases and monitor coverage
- Facilitate media interviews of PIL top/senior management
- Build and maintain media database

**ii) Digital communication**
- Develop social media strategies, implement related initiatives and develop content
- Seek continuous improvements to the design and content of PIL’s website
- Maintain currency of all PIL’s online and social media platforms

**iii) Customer communication and issues management**
- Provide communications advisory to business units and overseas agencies in the company’s communications with customers and other key stakeholders
- Provide support in managing possible issues faced by business units and overseas agencies

**iv) Events Management**
- Support in the organisation of corporate events such as anniversaries and other significant milestones
- Support PIL’s participation in industry events such as exhibitions, seminars, forums and career fairs

**v) Corporate collaterals and identity**
- Maintain full set of corporate collaterals and act as custodian of corporate identity

**vi) CSR activities**
- Organise CSR activities for PIL, and evaluate sponsorship or donation requests
- Provide support in the publication of the annual Sustainability report

**b) Internal Communications**

**i) Leadership communication**
- Assist in the dissemination of leadership messages
- Organise townhalls
- Work on relevant company-wide internal announcements

**ii) Quarterly Newsletter**
- Work with external agency on the design and editorial of PIL quarterly newsletter
- Assume role of editor of newsletter
