Position Overview:
As the Curriculum Development Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and developing WSQ and non-WSQ courseware, managing relationship with client stakeholders and associates, reviewing and updating existing courseware to ensure currency and relevancy to latest industry trends. This role requires a detailed and results-oriented individual who can envision the potential for our services and translate it into tangible growth.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare Course Proposals for SSG Approval (includes queries, documentation and finding developer/s).
- Design, create and develop Learner Guide, Lesson Plan, Facilitator Guide, Assessment Plan, Cross-Reference Matrix, PowerPoint Slides and Virtual delivery Guide based on SSG Skills Framework.
- Review, update and manage all training products and its contents.
- Collaborate with content partners, trainers and SMEs on curriculum review and enhancement.
- Conduct TTT for new and revised products to brief internal and external stakeholders.
- Conduct surveys, observations and action plan/s to continuously improve company's courses.
- Assist company's Associate Trainers on curriculum concerns matters.
- Partner with Business Units to create bundles of courses.
Qualification Requirements
- Attained full WSQ DACE / DDDLP certification
- Minimum of Diploma qualification
Work Experience
- At least 1 year in curriculum design work for adult and continuing education training (CET) sector
Technical/Functional Skills
- MS Office skills
- Writing skills
- Ability to conduct research before conducting training or development works
- Ability to understand Skills Frameworks, interpret Skills Standards, Technical Skills Competencies (TSC) and Critical Core Skills (CCS)
