[What the role is]
The Aviation Industry Division seeks to accelerate the development and transformation of Singapore’s air transport sector, to ensure its continued growth and competitiveness. You will play an important role in supporting industry-relevant initiatives to build a vibrant and sustainable aviation industry.
[What you will be working on]
You will be part of a team responsible for managing and administering incentive schemes under the Aviation Development Fund (ADF). You will be involved in reviewing and ensuring that the governance framework and grant policies and procedures remain relevant, establishing systems to ensure compliance, and managing grant budgets. You will provide advice to project managers putting up proposals for grants, from the perspective of governance, adherence to policies and procedures, and insights on best practices with regard to the administration of grants. You will work external vendors as appointed, to verify claims and recommend disbursement of funds. You will also support periodic audits by CAAS Internal Audit and external auditors.
During the course of your work, where relevant, you will also have the opportunity to work with industry stakeholders to manage innovation and capability development projects.
[What we are looking for]
- Strong foundation in in business, accountancy, economics, administration or other relevant disciplines
- Related experience in industry development, grant administration and policy work will be advantageous
- Detail-oriented with ability to see big picture
- Resourceful, and a good team player
- Good communication (written and verbal) and analytical skills
