[What the role is]
The Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) is looking for a driven professional with extensive experience in planning, coordinating, and executing a variety of events, ensuring they are successful and meet organisational objectives to join our newly formed CAAS Events Team.
[What you will be working on]
As Senior Manager / Manager (Events), you will:
I. Plan, organise, and execute events, including conferences, seminars, trade shows and corporate meetings involving international government and industry leaders.
II. Develop event concepts, themes, and agendas in collaboration with stakeholders.
III. Manage event budgets, negotiate contracts with vendors, and ensure cost-effective solutions.
IV. Coordinate logistics, including venue selection, catering, transportation, and accommodation.
VI. Lead and manage event staff, including volunteers, contractors, and vendors.
VII. Evaluate event success and provide post-event reports and analysis.
VIII. Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and partners.
IX. Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in event management.
[What we are looking for]
- At least 5 years of experience in event planning and management.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale events.
- Strong organisational, project management and problem solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Attention to detail and able to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in event management software and tools.
