The job holder is responsible for supporting sterilization services in Central Sterile Supply Department to ensure sterile and function supply of material and medical instruments to Operating Theatre, Emergency Department, Wards, Clinics and Specialty Centers.

**Duties and Responsibilites**
- Perform quality inspection and quantity counts to set instruments, loose instruments, and utensils
- Identify and use approprate methods and solutions to sort, disassemble, rinse and disinfect instruments and utensils
- Operate and troubleshoot the cleaning equipment
- Ultrasonic washer
- Washer disinfector / cartwasher
- Perform packaging of below items using appropriate packing materials:

Loose instruments
- Instrument set
- Lien
- Utensils
- Approporiately identify each sterilizer load and maintain record of each cycle
- Stock, label and issue sterile supplies
- Prepare procedure card cart according to surgery preference cardex

**Requirements**:

- Prior healthcare experience would be advantageous
- Able to lift, stand and stoop without physical restriction
- Possess good attitude and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable with 2 staggered shift duties (morning and afternoon) and working on weekends if required
