The IPB APAC PPSS (Product Platforms and Sustainable Solutions) Head is responsible for the management of all products activities in scope of Global PPSS as well as the Risk oversight of such activities.

The IPB APAC PPSS Head reports functionally into the Global Head of PPSS, a new created IPB Exco position, and into IPB region Head. The IPB APAC PPSS Head will sit at the PPSS Leadership Council and represent the global Head of PPSS at regional level. In-scope products include Funds, Alternatives, Insurance as well as Sustainable Solutions. In scope platforms include Capital Markets as well as any other platforms related to products or investment services (except for DPM).

The IPB APAC PPSS Head will manage all in-scope products teams locally, working hand in hand with regional Advisory & Services (A&S) and CIO Heads. The IPB APAC PPSS Head will also work very close with the global product heads who are also members of the PPSS Leadership council to ensure that the IPB PPSS product proposition strategy be designed and implemented in a consistent and timely manner.

The IPB APAC PPSS Head will be a voting member of the Regional Product Councils, on behalf of PPSS and chair the regional NPA process.

**Role Responsibility**

**Shaping and embedding the local PPSS team**
- The IPB APAC PPSS Head will work closely with the Global Head of PPSS in shaping the PPSS teams. This will include clearly outlining the purpose and scope of the Product Platforms and Sustainable Solutions team in line with the global blueprint.
- An important part of the role will consist of creating a strong sense of purpose, belonging and identity as activities and teams are being aligned under PPSS. The IPB APAC PPSS Head will also ensure a close management of the transition of in-scope activities from CIO and A&S into PPSS so as to ensure that we promptly establish good partnership across the three business pillars, CIO, Product and A&S.
- The IPB APAC PPSS Head will map-out all activities in scope of PPSS to ensure a clear delineation of roles and responsibilities with other business partners, mainly CIO and A&S to ensure business continuity and clarity of risk ownership framework.

**Contributing to the delivery of IPB growth targets on funds, ALTS and Sustainable Solutions**
- The IPB APAC PPSS Head will be responsible for ensuring that the overall management of the product proposition offering for all activities in scope of PPSS enable and optimize A&S ability to perform and deliver to its growth targets.
- The performance of the PPSS team will be managed based on qualitative and quantitative criteria. Qualitative assessment will include feedback from Front Office and Client surveys. Quantitative assessment will include morning of KPI on product penetrations and wallet share increase including specific ESG targets.

**Day to day management of PPSS in-scope products and activities**
- The IPB APAC PPSS Head will have functional responsibility for the Funds, Alternatives, Insurance and Sustainable Solutions teams locally for all BAU activities. The role also has responsibility for Capital Markets platform activities (i.e. non-client facing activities) including on-going projects.
- The role is responsible for the PPSS growth plan, business case, book of work that is supporting the market growth plan. The person will work closely with Global Head of PPSS and regional head of strategy on defining the product and platform strategy for the market.

**Responsibility for the Product Management life cycle from product initiation to pre-sales services through NPA following a top-down and bottom-up process**
- The IPB APAC PPSS Head will be responsible for the local Product Proposition offering across Mutual Funds, Alternatives, Insurance and Sustainable Solutions. The person will coordinate the overall Product Proposition strategy working with CIO team for DPM and Advisory & Sales for Capital Markets Products.
- The IPB APAC PPSS Head will ensure that the local Product Proposition falls under the Global Product Proposition strategy as endorsed at the quarterly Product Proposition Council. The IPB APAC PPSS Head will manage and chair NPA to ensure that the decisions made at the quarterly product proposition council are implemented in a safe, sound and timely way.
