We are currently looking for a Mechanical Engineer with 20 over years of experience for an operations support project to join us on a permanent role to help us deliver various projects in the Life Sciences Industry.

**Key Attributes/Responsibilities**
- Lead the MEP installation of the project assisting the Construction Manager
- Monitor shutdown progress activities and monitor schedule
- Monitor, inspection and witness the mechanical installation of the equipment and piping system process and utilities piping prior to handing over to the production
- Assisting in C&Q in HVAC as specified in the drawing through room zoning
- Assisting in C&Q in Process piping and Black utility piping system
- Conduct final walk-down for punch listing before handover to the owner
- Able study the concept design of the M&E consultant as well as the Structural Design
- Prepare the scope of work and material specifications according to design & site condition
- Invite the vendors and contractors for biding and to review cost proposal related to mechanical works i.e. piping installation, HVAC and structural works
- Monitor the site installation progress, Safety on site and Quality of works
- Testing on piping and HVAC system and punch list system
- Be the client Representative for various shutdown projects for Mechanical and Infrastructure works
- Prepare URS/FRS (User Requirement Specification/Functional & P/S Project Scope of any new project to be carried out before the project start
- Prepare a design concept, site study of the existing utilities, equipment, wall, floor and to check possible location of the new project
- Call the vendors and contractors for the submission of quotation for bidding & to check project cost for budgetary cost
- Monitor and coordinate a daily meeting and progress meeting with the vendor and contractor during shutdown period to that ensure the GMP and Safety is being followed
- Prepare IQ/OQ (Installation Qualification/Operation) document before the plant operation before PQ Performance Qualification or before production start and punch list system

**Qualification and Experience**
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant qualification
- Over 20 years of experience in Pharmacteutical Industry
- Willing to work in Tuas Area.
