**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee and manage the repair and maintenance of mechanical equipment, including pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, and pipelines, in the chemical plant.
- Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs for mechanical systems, ensuring mínimal downtime and optimal plant performance.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) on equipment failures and recommend corrective and preventive measures to avoid recurrence.
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic electrical maintenance issues, such as motors, control panels, and power distribution systems, in collaboration with the electrical team.
- Supervise and coordinate with contractors for equipment overhauls, inspections, and specialized repair activities, ensuring adherence to plant standards and timelines.
- Ensure all maintenance activities are conducted in compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations and company policies.
- Conduct regular inspections of mechanical and electrical systems, maintaining detailed records and ensuring proper documentation of maintenance activities.
- Plan and execute shutdowns and turnarounds, including the scheduling of mechanical and electrical tasks to ensure efficient and timely completion.
- Recommend and support equipment upgrades or modifications to enhance plant reliability, energy efficiency, and operational safety.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, safety, and electrical departments, to maintain seamless plant operations.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- At least 4 - 5 years of repair & maintenance experience in chemical plant
- Must be mechanical background, with knowledge and basic experience in the electrical maintenance side.
- Strong in analytical and problem solving skillsProficient in MS office
