Finance & Operation Specialist

The role includes and is not limited to the below:

- Provision of effective operational business support to management.
- Process, book Energy trades transactions of various instruments offered by industry participants.
- Perform post trade activities.
- Handle queries from Management, Finance, and external counterparties.
- Perform various reconciliations on trades, nostros position, cash balance, etc.
- Conduct regular control checks, understanding market and counterparty risks, and produce relevant reports for exposure management.
- Highlight day-to-day trade processing, reconciliation and execution issues for appropriate resolution measures.
- Meet all legal, regulatory and compliance standards/requirements.
- Regular assessment of the function’s practices to mitigate associated risks arising out of and relating to the said function.
- Any other duties as and when assigned by the management.

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Business-related, Accounting, Finance, or related discipline or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years’ of relevant working experience, preferably in middle office or trading floor support.
- Good knowledge in accounting, energy/oil market and execution processes.
- Good knowledge of energy/oil products.
- Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills.
- Highly adaptable and resilient, thriving on change and challenges.
- Self-motivated with a hands-on and can-do positive work attitude.
- Project management skills would be an advantage.
