Job Opportunity: Finance Operations Specialist

This role is ideal for a recent graduate or student looking to gain valuable experience in finance. As a Finance Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for the daily finance operations including customer invoicing and collections, vendor payments, staff claims, and follow up on outstanding receivables/payables.

The successful candidate will have accurate and timely recording of finance transactions in the accounting system and other financial tools, as well as maintenance of accurate records and support with monthly accounts closing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily finance operations, including customer invoicing and collections, vendor payments, staff claims, and follow up on outstanding receivables/payables.
  • Accurate and timely recording of finance transactions in the accounting system and other financial tools.
  • Maintenance of accurate records and support with monthly accounts closing.
  • Monthly reconciliation schedules and follow up on outstanding items such as creditors, debtors, bank accounts, and intercompany reconciliation.
  • Provide general administrative support to the department.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Business, Finance, or Accounting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Excellent organisational, analytical, and numerical skills, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle confidential data and maintain strong ethics.
