Supply Operations Coordinator

Overview:
The purpose of the Supply Operations Coordinator role is to reflect the regional 12-18 month operational and business objectives in the form of a demand plan within SAP. The Supply Operations Coordinator should then, on a daily basis, manage the plan and associated material movements required to achieve the plan and to ensure timely fulfilment of orders. At a non-manufacturing location, the role is centered on demand plan management via co-ordination with business, manufacturing and logistics. The proper execution of the role should enable best utilization of shipping/distribution models to enable the right product being available for customers in the right time and in the right location. Specific roles encompass supply operations activities for defined business units as required in regional markets.

**Responsibilities**:

- Seek and interpret inputs from across the organization to build a demand plan that will drive operational activity in line with the business objectives for the required replenishment site/s
- Manage the import and/or export of FG products to support the demand plan activities within AP markets & sub-regions.
- Maintain SAP planning parameters & other SAP requests/updates for the replenishment site/s.
- Manage inventory levels within target ranges for key materials and key locations. The aim is to have adequate material to maintain supply without increasing working capital costs to an unacceptable level. This includes proposing inventory movement/transfers to as part of the working capital management.
- Maintain understanding of short term capacity availability and constraints. This is so that related enquiries arising from the business (internal and external) and logistics teams can be addressed (in co-ordination with the Regional Product Manager) in a clear, accurate and responsive manner.
- Respond to changes in plan in a timely manner. In addition to updating the demand plan and material movement requirements, this should also include highlighting likely impact of these changes to the business team. This is to ensure that the impact of these changes are understood across the regional team/s.
- Collaborate with other replenishment planners in one’s own region and other regions to ensure coordination of shared global resources (such as inventory & SAP planning parameters) and develop best practice procedures.
- Local drumming fulfillment/coordination with 3rd party logistics & Singapore plant team.
- Support shipment monitoring updates and creation of inbound deliveries for import deliveries.
- Support FG POs movements from toller to replenishment sites.
- Be aware of, and support where necessary, other Supply operations within the region to ensure that Supply Operations activities are aligned with Logistics and Procurement objectives.
- Support company quality and safety systems through day-to-day activities and via formal feedback mechanism

Qualifications:

- Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, etc. - or in-country equivalent as advised by regional HR team.
- SAP competency in materials managements and supply operations activities.
- General knowledge of supply chain structures and procedures, global supply network interactions and inventory management protocols typically acquired.
