**Job Description Summary**:
You will be responsible to perform metallurgical evaluation of various type of coatings and material for aircraft component repair. You will also be responsible to perform mechanical testing on the coating specimen and monitor equipment calibration schedule.

**Essential Responsibilities**:

- Prepare the sample for mechanical testing
- Prepare the sample for metallurgical evaluation
- Operate and maintain metallurgical Lab equipment
- Perform incoming inspection of controlled material if required
- Liaise with vendor on externally provided calibration services
- Ensure all external calibration service quotation, purchase order and certification be delivered timely.
- In collaboration with Engineering Team for new repair development and formulate Standard Operating Procedures for metallurgical evaluation and analysis
- Maintain, update Lab procedures and record retention.
- Participate in Continuous Improvement projects.
- Involve in customer, regulatory and 3rd party audits
- Other responsibilities assigned as and when needed

**Qualifications / Requirements**:

- Minimum NITEC/ Higher NITEC in Aerospace Technology / Mechanical Engineering/ or ITE Technical Diploma
- Minimum 3 years working in aviation MRO industry
- Certified Laboratory Technician from a recognized institution on aerospace Thermal Spray Coating (Eg. Central Coating Laboratory-MetCut)
