**Regional Service Support Specialist**
The Regional Service Support Specialist provides high level of technical support and participation in pre and post selling activities of Radiology Medical Device Portfolio. He/she will also be responsible for providing evaluations, demonstrations, and technical training in 3 main areas; Advanced Field Service Support, Technical Training and Basic Cyber Security Support.
**YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Advanced Field Service Support:
- The jobholder will be responsible for providing advanced Field Engineering Guidance to Field Engineers of Bayer affiliates and distributors across APAC. The scope will include physical errors and defects as well as connectivity related troubleshooting. This can be achieved through virtually or physically at the site.
- He/She is also responsible of monitoring the status of all connected devices with Bayer’s VirtualCare through ThingWorx connections. This also includes possible direct customer interactions through ‘push-for service’ feature.
Technical Training:
- Aligned with EU Service Support training framework, the jobholder will be responsible for the development, coordination, formulation, and execution of global technical trainings in APAC to Bayer Radiology Service teams and Bayer Radiology Distributor Service teams. Training can be conducted in the APAC regional training center or off-site in target countries as required.
Basic Cyber Security Support:
- Aided by global collaterals and collaborations with EU TAC/Americas TAC, job holder will provide basic cyber security support required through customer enquiries. This includes being proficient in utilizing FAQ and white paper collaterals on the topic of Cyber Security.
- In cooperation with the Radiology APAC Service Support Manager and Country Service Manager, manage the support needs from a functional perspective to ensure technical product knowledge, competencies, processes, and skills are optimized for internal and external Customers.
- Monitor status of connected device in APAC with Bayer ThingWorx servers and provide proactive preventive actions and/or advise to Field Engineers and/or End-Customers.
- Sells and promotes of Service Department Programs to end user, customers, and dealers throughout the territory, with revenue generation responsibility.
- Collaborate with Commercial and Marketing functions to develop and formulate value proposition for VirtualCare to end-customers
- Provide feedback to the Radiology APAC service support manager and country service manager on competencies and performance of the Radiology Service teams.
- Design and implement highly effective, results driven technical training in English to support business/employee needs and sales growth. Provide training to customers, distributors, and end users.
- Conduct instructor led face to face Engineering Service trainings to Field Service Engineers of APAC Bayer affiliates and business partners
- Assist local service organization in the response of basic Cyber Security enquiries
- Technical liaison between the service field engineers and R&D. Bringing forward technical challenges encountered in the field towards R&D and align with R&D about possible solutions
**WHO YOU ARE**:
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in an Engineering Field
- Minimum 5 years of Field Engineering experience in MedTech
- Deep knowledge of Healthcare IT and Radiology IT, including cyber security industrial practice standards
- Working knowledge of global service processes
- Excellent command of both oral and written English plus native-level command of local language
- Training experience is a plus
- Negotiation and presentation skills
- Experience in regional work, understanding the difference of the Customers need
