**Would you like to become a Bunker Trader for a top Bunker Trading Company in the world?**

**Glander International Bunkering is looking for a Junior Bunker Trader to be based in Singapore. You will be part of a dynamic, international multi-cultural team of top bunker traders who share industry expertise and a passion for Trading.
As a Junior Bunker Trader, you will be a part of a dedicated trading team who will take the lead in your theoretical learning, providing detailed training in the industry. You will be introduced to the trading tools, platform, and network, and you will establish an understanding of the market as well as develop your own relationships and sourcing channels.

More specifically the day-to-day tasks include:

- Understanding customer needs, negotiating prices, and closing deals
- Participating in client and supplier visits and approaching new business
- Support current operations and expand market share
- Identifying business opportunities and supporting business development activities
- Exposure to day-to-day trading of bunker fuel and work closely with both internal as well as external stakeholders

**A team-oriented salesperson with a positive winning mentality**

As a Junior Bunker Trader, it is important that you are a successful salesperson with a strong winning mentality. Having experience within the oil industry is not a must. Most importantly you have some experience in sales, you are keen on learning and developing and have the drive and passion to obtain great results within a fast-paced work environment. If you have knowledge of the industry or a shipping education, it will of course be considered an advantage.

The ability to establish great relationships within the industry and meet both customer as well as supplier requirements is of great importance. You thrive in a fun, dynamic and fast paced work environment and embrace working as part of a team. However, you are also able to work independently on your own tasks.

Additionally, you:

- Are fluent in both written and spoken English, and fluent in at least one additional language.
- Are a social person with a proactive approach to sales
- An ambitious, hard-working, and goal-oriented individual with a high level of energy
