**General Description**

As Regional Contract Logistics Senior Manager of a major Asia-Pacific account, this position is responsible for the ongoing business and commercial management with key and/or emerging accounts in Asia Pacific. The job holder is responsible for the contract logistics business and technical solution, account management, determine renewal strategy for business retention, development of growth opportunities with the customer, and implementation of such initiatives, working with in-country organisations, and customer stakeholders.

**Specific Accountabilities**
- Identify supply chain business model solutions to deliver value to the selected customer. Drive business development of such solutions to closure with the customer, maximizing value for the customer, and Schenker
- Primary point of liaison with customer on all issues at a regional level, relating to overall strategic project implementation, including new business, commercial issues, scope agreement, business improvements, & ongoing operation performance
- Coordination of internal project resources (IT, logistics, land) to deliver contract logistics project outcomes to the customer. Tracking and maintenance of existing regional initiatives for the account and driving them to closure.
- Work in tandem with the Key Account Manager responsible for the overall Supply Chain of the account, in specific to contract logistics development and solution.
- Co-ordinate with other regional (Europe, US) account management resources to facilitate delivery of operational requirements, and leverage of growth opportunities with the customer
- Provide business models for all elements that require consistency across region in:

- Pricing
- Broad (high level) solution mapping
- Broad business policies, and operating procedures
- Implementation methodology
- Establishment of performance measures at a regional and global level, and leverage these to drive business performance and customer service level requirements across the region
- Work with in-country operations supporting this client to achieve target performance and business outcomes, to ensure revenue retention and viable profit for business sustainability.
- Escalation / Resolution of any necessary issues to Business Owner & Project Sponsors
- Internal communication to all Schenker Stakeholders to ensure clarity and alignment of all resources to agreed customer requirements.

**Required Skills**:

- Exceptional Customer Engagement & Communication Skills and Negotiation Skills.
- Ability to direct and coordinate tasks to ensure they meet critical deadlines
- Operational knowledge of logistics and freight activities (both air and ocean)
- Ability to understand project sequences and consequences of non-conformed tasks
- Excellent people interaction skills - ability to influence individuals outside of direct management control and ability to communicate with all levels of the organization
- Leadership through effective communication, and ability to influence outcomes across multiple regional locations
- Organizational skill with ability to prioritize under pressure

**Experience & Qualifications**
- Experience in managing complex projects across different countries
- Minimum a degree holder or similar, preferably in (Logistics) Engineering
- International experience in Supply Chain and/or Integrated Manufacturing Management
- Extensive experience in 3PL Contract Management (either as service provider, or service ‘buyer), and demonstration of Negotiation Skills
