**About Our Client**:
Our client is a global leader in industrial automation solutions.
The Managing Director (MD) will be responsible for the overall management of the region's P&L while fostering a sustainable and agile Asia-Pacific (APAC) organization.
Based in Shanghai, and directly reporting to the company's global headquarters (HQ), your primarily responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Driving and developing the commercial strategy and its execution for APAC, and for all activities related to sales, marketing and services
- Achieving profitable growth, and the fulfilment of all other financial targets along with building a customer-focused company culture
- Working closely with the executive leadership team to achieve short-term and mid-term goals
- Defining and implementing new processes, methodologies and behaviours to improve business efficiency and performance
- Managing day-to-day operations and ensuring effective collaboration between teams, departments, and countries
**The Successful Applicant**:
- MSc or BSc in Business or related fields (MBA preferred)
- Minimum of 15 years of experience as CEO/MD/GM in a leading sales driven MNC
- Commercially astute with experience in B to B manufacturing or industrial environment
- Strategic yet operational, and committed to excellence for customers
- Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills with a global mindset
- Robust track record in leading regional teams in an ever-changing environment
