A Research Associate position is available in the Centre for System Intelligence and Efficiency, School of Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. We are looking for a Research Associate to develop navigation technologies for autonomous systems in a research project.

**Job Description**:
- Develop multi-modal robust localization techniques- Develop optimization based motion planning techniques- Conduct field experiments on real autonomous systems- Responsible for the development of intelligent navigation algorithms- Assist in developing intelligent perception algorithms and conducting field experiments- Write project reports and academic papers

Job Requirements:
- Have a Master degree in Mechanical, Electrical and Electronic Engineering or related field- Proficiency in ROS, Linux, C++ and Python- Have experience with perception sensors (camera, LiDAR, etc.)- Have experience with optimization algorithm design- Be highly self-motivated, creative thinking, teamwork, and interpersonal skills- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preference will be given to applicants with the following additional skills- Experience with robotic simulator (Gazebo, CarSim, etc.)- Experience with optimization based motion planning algorithm design
