**What the role is**
- The Singapore Police Force (SPF) plays a critical role in keeping Singapore safe and secure with our mission to prevent, deter and detect crime.
The Assistant Finance Officer is responsible for dealing with all financial matters in the Police Coast Guard (PCG) and assisting the Executive officer (Finance) for the execution of financial transactions and activities in PCG in Logistics & Admin Branch.
You will be placed under the Management Executive Scheme
**What you will be working on**
- The job holder is required to:
a. collect revenue, make payment recovery, and raise journal adjustment vouchers.
b. follow up on service requests put up for deduction from payroll.
c. maintain the accounts for cash and cheque payments received.
d. maintain an official receipt book for the purpose of issuing receipts when required.
e. prepare banking documents for deposit of monies.
f. prepares and submit six-monthly and yearly returns on revenue matters.
g. facilitates and assist in audit requests.
**What we are looking for**
- REQUIREMENTS
a. Related field of studies with relevant experience
b. Possess good organization and communication skills.
c. Adapt to changing operating needs, conditions, and work responsibilities in highly stressful or adverse situations.
d. Diligently attend to details and pursue quality in accomplishing tasks.
e. Knowledge of the Instruction Manual, Government Procurement Framework and Directives will be an advantage. Prior accounting and financial knowledge will be an advantage.
