**Designation**: Assistant General Manager - Corporate Planning

**Purpose**:The role is responsible for providing business analyst support to the Associate Vice President of Corporate Planning. This position relies on analytical skills to support the planning and execution of various corporate strategies while performing a variety of tasks to aid in overall departmental functions.

**Role Description**:

- Assist in analyzing and preparing management summaries on competition and peers’ financial results and business strategies.
- Support benchmarking of competition in business performance.
- Conduct analysis of domestic and global trends in the auto, financial services, and housing sectors.
- Engage in analyzing key economic trends and their potential impacts on the business.
- Assist in assessing changes in the regulatory landscape, political and economic factors that may affect our business both directly and indirectly.
- Provide support for new business activities as required.
- Regularly update management on key industry developments.
- Assist in the preparation of business plans, reports, budgets, and forecasts.
- Support management in defining and implementing corporate strategies.
- Aid management in developing business planning and forecasting techniques.

**Requirements**:

- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (BE) and an MBA from a well-recognized institution.
- 10 to 12 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, competitive analysis, and understanding of macro and microeconomic fundamentals from the automotive industry.
- A strong analytical mindset with an ability to make informed decisions.
- Effective communication skills to support executive presence and articulate company direction in discussions and presentations.
- Ability to think strategically and communicate effectively with different levels of management.
- Demonstrated capability to work with ambiguity and assist in complex strategic analysis projects.
- Experience across various industries, especially in the consumer sector.
- Interest in technology and tech trends.
