The Senior Production Planning & Control specialist is to lead, develop detailed production plans and coordinate production schedules to optimize capacity utilization. He/she is responsible to provide reliable and customer-oriented production controlling services for the manufacturing of goods supplied to the system house. He/she is expected to provide efficient services with timely execution, while maintaining close alignment with the supply chain team at the headquarters to achieve and fulfil the demand. The specialist shall perform WIP/work order analysis, expedite workflows, and forecast output performance in the manufacturing of medical devices.

**Your Responsibilities**
- Ownership in establishing and maintaining an effective production plan which optimizes manufacturing capacity and inventory to meet customer requirements.
- Lead discussion with cross-functional team to establish demand and inventory plans to support customer service, and revenue objectives.
- Ensure all planning related systems are updated timely and accurately.
- Utilize SAP / Microsoft office tool to establish and manage a feasible and executable weekly production schedule based on available production capacity.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels through the active use of SAP while ensuring all production lead times and inventory level of all assemblies are met.
- Prepare & issue all purchasing requisitions in accordance to established and approved schedules.
- Ensures that all material, schedule, and capacity issues are escalated promptly to the cross-functional leads as required.
- Cooperate with supply chain team to resolve supplies issue in a proactive manner and provide plans for short term mitigation and long-term solution.
- Monitor & analyze customer’s forecast and order patterns, and adjust the supply and demand plans accordingly to maintain an optimum semi-finished inventory level, to prevent shortfalls and/or excess stock situations for semi-finished goods inventory.
- Obtain consensus with cross-functional leads to ensure that planning and production controlling processes of VI operations can be executed most efficiently and effectively.
- Lead the continuous improvement program in collaboration with production supervisors, Quality, Process & Equipment teams, to improve the inventory, manufacturing, and production control systems to meet business objectives.
- Responsible in leading, planning and executing the quarterly cycle count, and provide a detailed analytical report to propose an action plan to resolve inventory discrepancy with finance team.
- Ensure & maintain accuracy and data integrity of production reporting systems (SAP & Pareto report).
- Responsible in maintaining SAP work orders with proper closure and disposition of aging work orders.
- Participate and support the project manager on transfer projects and capacity planning for new setup.
- Responsible in preparing & releasing all purchasing requisitions in accordance to Project schedules.
- Review and ensure proper disposition of scrap material and liaise with supply chain & production on the decommissioning and disposal of the scrap material.
- Perform other duties assigned by the production manager.

**Your Profile**
- Minimum: Diploma in Industrial Engineering/Supply Chain, related engineering discipline or equivalent
- Diploma holders with experience in handling production control activities using SAP tools are also welcome to apply
- Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft office tool and any other planning tools
- Experience in manufacturing operation management, production, inventory control and capacity planning
- Strong analytical skills in skills analysis and reporting
- Team player with strong customer orientation
- Experienced in managing and working with teams across different functions
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and intercultural skills with strong problem-solving skills
