
Production, Planning, and Material Control Specialist

Our client is is a Chinese listed high-tech enterprise specializing in advanced photovoltaic and optoelectronic technologies. With a strong focus on research, development, and global expansion, the company is dedicated to delivering innovative solar solutions that support the transition toward sustainable energy worldwide.
This is a pioneer hire for our client's Singapore team. We are currently seeking a Production, Planning, and Material Control Specialist for our client to support the finance operations. This role will for be repsonsible for managing production planning, material control, and inventory optimization, while ensuring cross-department coordination, KPI analysis, and compliance in the organisation.
This role is based onsite in Singapore and reports to the Singapore business VP. Proficiency in spoken and written Chinese is required to effectively liaise with the VP and China HQ.
Responsibilities:
- Production Planning Management: Develop master production schedules based on sales orders and capacity; ensure on-time delivery; monitor production progress and coordinate solutions for issues during execution (e.g., equipment breakdowns, material shortages).
- Material Control & Inventory Optimization: Lead the development of Material Requirements Planning (MRP); track raw material procurement and delivery progress.
- Inventory Structure Optimization: Define safety stock levels to minimize obsolete inventory and capital tie-up.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Coordinate with procurement, warehousing, production, and sales teams to ensure information alignment and efficient resource allocation; participate in capacity planning and support resource evaluation for new project launches.
- Data Analysis & Improvement: Track KPIs such as production achievement rate and material readiness rate; prepare analysis reports and propose improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- College degree or above, preferably in Logistics Management, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Manufacturing, or related fields.
- Minimum of 5 years of PMC experience in manufacturing.
- Strong stress tolerance, clear logical thinking, and excellent cross-department communication and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in both Chinese and English.
