You will be providing evidence base research for National HIV and TB Programmes and national strategies for the prevention and control of communicable diseases. As well as providing long-term horizon scanning and risk assessments on infectious threats for clinical and public health practice guidance. In addition, conducting national surveillance and audits on healthcare-associated infections, antimicrobial stewardship, and infection prevention and control; and Strengthening the linkage between expertise in public health and epidemiology and policy development.
- As a specialist, you will also be carrying out duties as directed by Head of Department in accordance with the policies and guidelines set by the Hospital, NHG and MOH. You will also be expected to provide leadership to all levels of staff, including teaching, training and research.
