VoroMotors is an electric scooter company - Our company is a Los Angeles based company with offices in New York, Hawaii, Australia and China.

**Responsibilities**
- Oversee and manage the company's accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies
- Monitor and manage the company's cash flow, including forecasting and budgeting, to ensure sufficient funds are available to meet operational needs
- Collaborate with external auditors and tax consultants to ensure accurate and timely completion of audits and tax filings (Have to learn US tax codes - You will have access to a CPA firm that we are currently working with)
- Oversee and manage the annual budgeting process, including the preparation of detailed budgets and forecasts for each department
- Analyze financial data and prepare financial reports to support decision-making and strategic planning processes
- Monitor and analyze key financial performance indicators to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Provide financial guidance and support to other departments, including analyzing and interpreting financial data to assist with decision-making
- Ensure the company's financial systems and processes are up-to-date, efficient, and in compliance with accounting standards and regulations
- Develop and maintain relationships with financial institutions and other stakeholders
- Manage the finance team, providing guidance and support as needed

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or a professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, ACCA) is preferred
- Proven experience in a financial controller or senior accounting role, preferably within a similar industry (e-commerce/manufacturing/import and exports)
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting processes
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders
- Proficient in accounting software such as Quickbooks and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- High attention to detail and accuracy, with strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with the ability to lead and motivate others

Pay: $7,500.00 - $8,500.00 per month
