Amazon Studios is the movies and television development and production arm of Amazon. It is our role to produce original content and license studio programs worldwide in exclusive service of Amazon’s Prime Video customers. We need your passion, innovative ideas, and creativity to help take us to new heights.

Our Southeast Asian Originals team supports all local Originals productions in Southeast Asia (“SEA”). We are looking for an experienced, dynamic, creative and self-motivated Creative Development Coordinator to support our SEA Movies efforts. This role will be based in Singapore.

In this role, you will support multiple creative executives on a range of projects, such as, getting a second set of eyes on a script, sourcing global talent options, syncing productions, consulting with SEA-based writers and editors, supporting evaluation of pitches, etc. The role will also provide lots of support coverage and feedback to creatives.

You will use your excellent organizational skills to respond to situations and events that require quick action or turnaround; and efficiently and creatively solve interesting and complex problems that affect the teams you will be working with.

Key job responsibilities
- Assist the Amazon Studios team based in the U.S. in managing the project submission process and upkeep of submission logs.
- Administrative support for multiple executives (e.g. team scheduling, travel logistics, research).
- Development tracking as well as providing notes on submitted scripts, pitches, treatments, and cuts.
- Assist with the management of development, production, and post-production logistics.
- Coordination with other internal departments such as marketing, press, business affairs, legal, and production.
- Track writers and directors.
- Support for creative projects.
- Create weekly development report.
- Participate in the planning of special events when requested.
- Interest in all forms of television and movies, as well as pop-culture and emerging trends.
- Detailed planning, time management and organizational skills.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Creative problem-solver.
- High levels of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
- Awareness of producers, production companies, agents, and other industry players.
- Previous experience working as a story analyst, story editor, or in film development a plus.
