Sea Freight Logistics Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized individual to join our logistics team as a Freight Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the movement of cargo by sea, ensuring timely shipments, and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate bookings with shipping lines or carriers for cargo to be transported via sea.
- Prepare and manage all relevant documentation for sea freight shipments, including shipping instructions and customs documents.
- Arrange timely collections/dispatch according to customer's request.
- Monitor the progress of sea freight shipments in real-time and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Ensure timely billing and accuracy of invoices.
- Attend to customer inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
- Candidate must possess at least O-Level qualifications.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the shipping industry.
- Good knowledge of import and export ocean shipment procedures.
- Knowledge of L/C documentations, Incoterms, Singapore shipping procedures, and freight forwarding experience.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills.
- Able to work as a team player, pro-active, self-motivated, and high sense of responsibility.
- Motivated individual with good planning and follow-up skills.
- Able to handle high volume of workload in a fast-paced environment.
- Creative problem-solving skills.
- Immediate starter will be an added advantage.
