PURPOSE:
- Support the operation of Financial Lines Department to help achieve the planned objectives of the company
- Support in product and distribution platform development and enhancements of Financial Lines products including Cyber Insurance, by providing user requirements, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders and testing
- Support the handling of underwriting referrals for complex risks referred by Business Units
- Support business development activities of Financial Lines including quotations, risk acceptance and business inception and renewals
- Assist to develop and maintain the Risk Acceptance Guide for Financial Lines in accordance with Company underwriting philosophy and changing business landscape
- Generate management reports
- Undertake any other duties as may be assigned
CONTEXT:
- Financial Lines Insurance business in Singapore
- Support to achieve Business Plan
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Tertiary education (preferred)
- General Insurance certifications
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE:
- Sound underwriting knowledge of various classes of financial lines insurance
- Microsoft Office - Moderate to Excellent knowledge of Excel, Word, Powerpoint
- Knowledge of insurance systems and processes
EXPERIENCE:
- At least 3 to 5 years relevant underwriting experience in an equivalent position
