Internship - Smart Manufacturing (Digital & Data Transformation), Singapore (Janaury to June/december 2026)

**Education required**: Undergraduate studying a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college/university, preferably from relevant Engineering or Sciences courses of study

**Other requirements**: Must be enrolled at a SG university for the duration of your internship and doing a full-time credit-bearing internship

**Language requirement**: Written and spoken fluency in English

**Internship period**: January to June/December 2026

**What will you do?**

Automation and digital solutions are deployed by first intent to optimize, transform or reinvent the ways of working, and allow the pharmaceutical manufacturing site to deliver new modalities and medicines to patients across the world in a reliable, effective, and sustainable manner. This will include developing a culture of right-first time and zero defects across the value chain, optimizing production, factory data integration, proactive scheduling, and data-centric operations. Operational excellence principles are applied to a process prior to introduction of digitalization and automation to ensure optimal delivery of business value.

**Project deliverables**

1) Collection, extraction, analysis, validation and visualization of business and process data, including sustainability, engineering, manufacturing and material flow.

2) Support business change processes prior to deployment of new technologies and platforms

3) Create and deploy new performance dashboards and visualization

**Management Skills**:
You will also be given a chance to lead / assist the engineers, chemists, data scientists or project managers in the following:
2) Prepare communication materials such as slides, videos for change management

3) Organize communication sessions with the site users

4) Join and lead / participate in company social events e.g. Environmental Sustainability or Social Welfare related

**What will you learn?**
- Learn about Pharmaceutical Primary Manufacturing and the use of automation, digitalization and data analytics to deliver business value
- Acquire knowledge on the cross-functional interconnectivity across operational, engineering, MSAT and quality functions to deliver the new technology solutions
- Immersed in business analysis, site activities and change management

**What are we looking for?**
- Strong written and oral communications skills
- Excellent English proficiency
- A keen interest in production
- Meticulous, organized, and dedicated
- Understanding and experience in using Python and SQL
- Knowledge of other languages such as Visual Basic, Javascript will be beneficial
