The merger of Aviva Singapore and Singlife was announced in September 2020 and created one of the largest homegrown financial services companies in Singapore in a deal valued at S$3.2 billion. It was the largest insurance deal in Singapore at the time. Singlife was subsequently acquired by Sumitomo Life in March 2024, one of Japan’s leading life insurers, which valued Singlife at S$4.6 billion, making the transaction one of the largest insurance deals in Southeast Asia.

**Responsibilities**:

- Continuously monitor and regularly review the effectiveness of security controls to protect company data and Cloud infrastructure.
- Lead the evolution of security measures that not only meet compliance (e.g. ISO 27001, FSI) but also drive innovation in enterprise protection.
- Support audits by ensuring that security controls are properly implemented, documented, and compliant with both regulatory and organizational standards.
- Produce comprehensive technical documentation and ensure that system security requirements are clearly defined and effectively address Cybersecurity operational needs.
- Champion automation to reduce manual overhead and increase operational efficiency.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
- Knowledge in managing security solutions stated above.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, practices, and solutions.
- Effective communication and analytical abilities.
- Ability to identify cybersecurity technology gaps and takes a proactive approach to analyze and solve cybersecurity enterprise problems.
- Expertise in computer programming and scripting languages.

**Education**:

- Academic: Bachelor’s degree in computer science / Cybersecurity(preferred)
- Professional Certification(s): CISSP, or any related vendor certification (preferred)
