**Responsibilities**:

- Perform routine chemical testing on skin care stability/ad hoc samples using High Performance Liquid Chromatogram (HPLC), Gas Chromatography, FTIR, Titration and pH meter. The tasks include relevant sample, standard, buffer and mobile phase preparation.
- Perform data processing using Chromeleon Software or Excel, and upload test results of samples into the Lab Information Management (LIMS) system for recording and tracking purpose
- Perform weighing and pipetting of ad hoc samples, and preparation of ad hoc buffers
- Perform ad hoc FTIR analysis
- Maintain lab equipment - perform maintenance on lab equipment by cleaning equipment, replacing parts, and otherwise keeping equipment functioning properly. Troubleshoot lab equipment to spot problems and report issues to the equipment owners.
- Adhere to safety regulations - follow all safety and protocols in wearing proper protective equipment and handling material/chemicals
- Carry out Inventory/stock checks - keeping track of material/chemicals used and request order for new items as needed
- Perform housekeeping/lab audit - making sure the lab benches or work areas are clean and organize. Expired/unused chemicals are disposed correctly.

**Qualification and Criteria**
- Possess at least NITEC in Science or related disciplines
- Prior knowledge in the use of general laboratory equipment (e.g. auto-titrator and pH measurement) would be an advantage
- Have basic skills in Microsoft Office suite of software
