**What the role is**
- You will be part of a team to plan, develop and maintain databases used for Enterprise Systems, securing data and detecting malicious activities in databases with reference to organisation policies and industry best practices. This is done to maintain the performance, confidentiality, integrity, consistency and security of the data.
You will be maintaining oversight as well as review, enhance and recommend new processes to ensure databases and data are in compliance with established policies and control framework.

**What you will be working on**
- You will be analyzing databases (on different products) and database schemas. You will also be referring to policies, governance framework and best practices.

**What we are looking for**
- You should have a tertiary education, preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science or related fields, with at least 1 year of experience in Relational Databases coupled with extensive hands-on experience. You must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be a good team player. Possession of certifications in Database Security for Cyber Professionals is advantageous.
