Singapore GAIN EMPLOYMENT SERVICES PTE. LTD. Full time

Contract Period: From 15 Jan 2025 for 4 months with an extension of 3 months depending on the project requirement

Working hours:

- Mondays to Saturdays: 8.00 am to 6.00pm, inclusive of 1 hr lunch break

Scope of works:

- To carry out supervision and inspection of the works so as to ensure that works are constructed in accordance to contract specifications and drawings.
- To carry out quality check on the works to ensure compliance to drawings and specifications so that works are produced of required quality and accuracy.
- To verify and submit weekly report on contract to HDB.
- To carry out random tests/checks in accordance to drawings and specifications.
- To check on quality of materials delivered to site and report to Qualified Person (Supervision)/Consultant/Resident Engineer on any materials that are not conforming to the specifications. The SO’s Rep shall be informed of nonconformance.
- To ensure proper and updated records of all works, including records of tests, inspections, site diary, work progress, approved drawings including all amendments, all departures or deviation relating to the specified works provided by Design Qualified Person. The attendance of Qualified Person (Supervision) and Qualified Site Supervisor, and etc, are to be kept. The records of all works are to be delivered to the Qualified Person (Supervision)/Consultant/Resident Engineer upon completion of all works.
- To supervise and keep records of repair works in accordance to approved method and standards.
- To take and carry out instructions including administrative tasks from the SO’s Rep and/or Qualified Person (Supervision)/Consultant/Resident Engineer.
- To attend meetings held with SO’s Rep/ Qualified Person (Supervision)/ Consultants/Resident Engineer and keep proper minutes of meetings.
- To attend to queries from SO’s Rep/ Qualified Person (Supervision)/ Consultants/ Resident Engineer.
- To oversee the safety aspects and raise to the SO’s Rep immediately any “Unsafe Acts and Unsafe conditions” observed.

Qualification, skills, experience:

- At least 3 years relevant working experience in civil/structural construction.
- The working experience shall include involvement in at least 2 commercial property upgrading projects.
- Under the Building Control Act, RTOs shall be accredited with Joint Accreditation Committee (JAC) of the Institution of Engineers Singapore (IES) and the Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore (ACES).
- Proficient in using Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
