What You'll Do
This fast-paced and exciting role will see you leading our business development team across the ASEAN region while also achieving your own set SDR targets. You will report directly to the APAC Business Development theater lead, and will be directly responsible for coaching and driving the right behaviors in the BDR team. You will be deeply involved in all aspects of the team end-to-end - from recruitment and onboarding, to enablement and coaching. You will work with new hires and seasoned BDR reps alike to increase the team’s performance and help drive results while also generating business for the enterprise sales team.
We are looking for someone who has a proven track record of being a high achiever and can lead and support the team from the front lines while still being able to hit and exceed their own targets as well.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Hybrid SDR & Team Lead, Business Development you will be responsible for:
- Collaborate in tandem with internal stakeholders to ensure all leads are validated and followed up on.- Prospecting and taking enquiries from potential clients with the overall goal of generating and maturing leads for your sales partner- Achieve or exceed monthly Sales Accepted Lead (SAL) quotas- Support the team through regular coaching, performance and development- Work with the APAC BD Theatre leader and local marketing team to support campaigns and events in the ASEAN region- Create, prioritise, and qualify strategic target account lists.- Support with hiring and onboarding new hires and ensuring speed to competency.- Help drive ongoing education and training programs.- Support seasoned BDRs, getting them up to speed on Mimecast messaging, cold calling, and products.- Drive team initiatives to promote activity and improve performance- Provide support to the team for daily operations and leveraging lead generation tools related questions
What You'll Bring- Strong leadership skills and a willingness to help others- Ability to work independently and think creatively- Effective communication and written skills- Intellectual curiosity and a self-starter- High capacity and ability to thrive in a fast-paced sales environment- Team player who is willing to go above and beyond to support the team- Knowledge and use of tools such as: SalesForce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo and SalesLoft will be highly regarded.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of proven work experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Account Executive or Project Manager.- Accountability to get the job done and work as part of a team- High energy, results oriented driven professional- Capacity to prioritize effectively and work independently- Ability to work in teams to develop strategies and action plans, and to share results
