**What’s the job?**

With your assistance, operations would flow smoothly and frontline team members guided by you together with the Restaurant Manager will show consistency in ensuring maximum guest & employee satisfaction. As Assistant Operations Manager, you are responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and training and controlling the Food & Beverage operation and administration while motivating team members. You will be in charge of the hotel food truck services and its logistics arrangement from planning to implementation.

**Your day-to-day**
- Assist Manager with all employee-related matters to ensure productivity for departmental performance (staffing, recruiting, On-The-Job trainings)
- Communicate regularly with team members and build good relations
- Actively participate in departmental training and give support and feedback
- Encourage and motivate staff to provide optimum service during shift
- Work with superior to assist in preparing the hotel’s annual budget and to achieve departmental revenue targets - Assist in forecasting and stock control
- Promote hotel facilities and services
- Drive revenue of food truck by creating promotions for food truck
- Manage Operations costs while actively pursuing cost saving measures
- Handle all sales and to account for all guest checks
- Handle guest complaints professionally and record feedback regularly to respond timely
- Make conversation with guests during their order and find out their preferences to build a rapport
- Personally meet and farewell a minimum of 80% of your customers
- Manage and co-ordinate updates in database to ensure all information are accurate and active
- Manage special event concepts
**What do we need?**

Ideally you have at least 2 years of service in a supervisory role in the F&B service field, you have a valid food hygiene certificate and at least a Diploma qualification.
