Blue Totem Communications is looking for an Account Director to join our close-knit team working with leading international brands and exciting start-ups. Our portfolio of technology, corporate and consumer clients includes 7-Eleven, L'Oréal, True Group, Yahoo and SMART, MIT's Research Enterprise in Singapore.

Things that you may work on
- Provides senior counsel to clients
- Leads and supports client service and agency performance
- Assume all responsibilities for effectively leading account teams, building client rapport, mentoring and ensuring all staff clearly understand accounts and assignments, and the entire team is working cooperatively to promote great work as well as a positive internal team environment.
- Oversees account staff in the successful management of their respective accounts.
- Advises on PR strategy and positioning and successfully implements PR campaigns for a range of corporate, technology and consumer clients
- Takes ownership of storytelling, drives the editorial strategy with content pitches, press releases and new campaigns in a range of media, including social media
- Develops PR and Marketing Communications proposals for prospective clients and lead the business development process
- You may be an established Account Director or maybe you’re currently a Senior Account Manager looking for an opportunity to step up, and this could be just that
- Manages and develops star performers and supports team in their professional growth
- Provides frameworks for tracking and measuring client results

- Commercially aware and decisive.
- Proven ability to engage with clients, senior business leaders, stakeholders with the requisite professionalism and sound judgment.
- Strong negotiation skills
- Strong time management skills
- Strong research skills (assimilation and presentation of information)
- Expert-level verbal and written communication and presentation skills, including ability to distil complex issues into compelling communications.
- You will be part of our BTC core senior leadership team
- Ability to adapt to changes in the industry
- Approaches challenging circumstances and relationships with confidence and initiative.
- Excellent listener balanced with ability to challenge colleagues constructively and stimulate the thinking of others
