**OBJECTIVE / PURPOSE OF THE JOB**

The Strategic Operations Director role is a permanent, full-time position to manage day-to-day operations of all patient-facing services, administrative, and operational matters. The incumbent will work closely with Clinical and Administration leads to create efficiencies in systems and processes. The Director will assume core responsibility for quality assurance in patient satisfaction and staff development. It’s an exciting role, which will also engage in driving and implementing strategic and operational initiatives with internal and external partners.

The role is part of the Leadership Team to grow, integrate, and deliver holistic personalised service and treatment to our patients and their families.

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Primary Responsibilities**:
**Operations and Administration**
- Work closely with various stakeholders, including doctors and allied professionals, to achieve the organizational goals.
- Manage patient volumes and financial targets for assigned clinics and assist to develop and carry out business plans in conjunction with the Leadership Team to ensure that goals are reached.
- Partner Legal and relevant stakeholders in the review of corporate contracts for new services or partnerships, as required.
**Strategy and Foresight**
- Work closely with Leadership, Accounting/Administrative, and Clinical Services to efficiently improve finance processes, as well as annual financial planning and reporting.
- Provide data driven analytic and advisory to support Leadership’s decision making.
- Provide timely, accurate, and complete reports on the profitability and operating condition of the Company and various business units and make recommendations on areas of improvement to drive cost efficiencies and boost revenue.
- Provide suggestions to improve patient experience, systems, and operations, and community engagement departments, as required.
- Participate in overall growth planning and development, including advancing the existing professional structure to incorporate new physician partners and new local sites of service.
- Contribute to strategic discussions of service delivery models, including digital health and telemedicine.
**Staff Management and Communication**
- Support functional Leads with staff recruitment and retention to achieve a stable, skilled, and motivated workforce and achieve desired customer and business outcomes.
- Provide effective two-way communication between staff and management with timely dissemination of information, escalation of issues, and recommended solutions.
**Quality**
- Support the Company’s commitment to professional education and continuous quality improvement of staff.
- Participate in quality-related meetings, committees, and audits.
**Adherence of National Standards**
- Work in accordance with the Ministry of Health for Singapore Clinics/Hospitals.
- Play an active internal role in any changes that are required in workflows or current practices.
- Work in accordance with Health Sciences Authority and other local/regional authorities to maintain data protection and cyber-security.
**Secondary Responsibilities**:

- Network, promote, and build synergy with referral partners (e.g., referring doctors, B2B partners, and insurance leadership teams).
- Provide input on marketing activities, including local and foreign/regional webinars/events, e.g., CME talks, target group talks, or focus group discussions.
- Identify opportunities to drive awareness with partners or the creation of new marketing initiatives.
- Ensure and implement enhancements to service levels of outsourced business processes to meet Company’s business objectives.
- Review partnerships with overseas doctors and services.
- Assist with responses to referrals and requests for appointments with the clinical team.
- Support leadership on initiatives as required.
**Desired Skills & Experience**:
To be successful in this role, you should have:

- 3-5 years of experience in a leadership position consistent with the role, preferably, but not required to be in a healthcare setting.
- Willing to travel overseas when conditions permit.
- Highly developed analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Practical multidisciplinary knowledge in operations, and/or commercial/finance, along with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment, in a team, and independently.
- Maturity and agility to handle and lead projects/situations independently, as required.
**Skills & Experience (preferred but not necessary)**:

- Knowledge of the public and private health insurance claim process in Singapore.
- Knowledge of health management systems.
- Keen interest in the developments of the digital health space in the market.
