**Showroom Assistant / Retail Assistant**

Join the team at Calvary Carpentry, a leading timber flooring supplier, and be a part of our brand-new showroom in Marina Square. We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Showroom Assistant / Retail Assistant to provide exceptional service to our valued customers.

Shift work

12noon-8pm 2 weekdays + 10a.m - 8pm (2 alternate weekends)

As a Showroom Assistant / Retail Assistant at Calvary Carpentry, you will play a vital role in creating a memorable experience for our customers. Your responsibilities will include:

- Welcoming customers to our showroom with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Providing expert knowledge and guidance on our range of European timber flooring products.
- Assisting customers in making informed purchasing decisions by understanding their needs, recommending suitable products, and addressing inquiries and concerns.
- Conducting engaging product demonstrations to showcase the features and benefits of our timber flooring range.
- Ensuring the showroom is well-maintained, organized, and visually appealing at all times.
- Collaborating with the sales team to achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the showroom.

**Qualifications and Skills**:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

- Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong customer relationships.
- Passion for the flooring industry and a desire to expand your knowledge.
- A positive and customer-focused attitude, with the ability to provide exceptional service.
- Attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Basic computer literacy, including experience with point-of-sale systems.
- Flexibility to work on weekends and public holidays, as required.
