**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Consider the best creative approach according to time, technical requirements, budget and resource restrictions.
- Create designs that are consistent with client branding and checked for quality, spelling, grammar and punctuation.
- Communicate the scope and suggested design approach to clients and colleagues, explaining the advantages and disadvantages from a learning perspective.
- Assist with the creation, review and development of sales marketing collateral.
- Supporting the sales team by designing presentations and tender documents or assets for tender submissions.
- Assist the Vista Health team with corporate identity development.
- Support Vista Health marketing initiatives with creative asset design.

**Supporting responsibilities**
- The Lead Designer will also be required to help determine a formulaic approach to how new opportunities are recognised and handled to provide the best opportunity for Vista Health to secure the associated work. This may involve developing design approaches, documenting processes and providing training.
- The Lead Designer must keep up to date with emerging design trends and technologies in new media and will potentially undertake some research and development tasks in relation to new technologies.
- Attend sales meetings and tenders with potential clients as required.
- Adhere to all applicable Vista Health policies and procedures.
- Adhere to procedures relating to the proper use and care of equipment and materials for which the role has responsibility.

**Qualifications and skills**:

- Relevant design experience through their degree, or equivalent experience
- The following software skills are typical for this role. The list below shows examples and is not intended to be a definitive list:

- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe Illustrator
- Adobe InDesign
- Adobe After Effects
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Adobe Audition
- Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch, Lunacy or equivalent.
- Maxon Cinema 4D
- Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage concurrent projects and to work to tight deadlines.
- A working knowledge of development approaches utilised across the business, e.g., e-learning modules, websites, AR and VR solutions etc.
- Knowledge of instructional design, colour theory, design principles and film theory.
- Proficient in PowerPoint and good knowledge in Excel

**Key Attributes**

The Lead Designer must be accountable for their own performance and keep detailed records of progress. They must be conscientious, striving to create the best outcome for the client when considering the design of any assets and helping to ensure that we are considering the most appropriate, imaginative approach. They must be able to communicate well and be comfortable putting forward suggestions and ideas. This includes taking a brief from a client, a project manager or an instructional designer, seeking further clarity when required and being able to share their own ideas about what might work well. This includes understanding the budget and time associated with the task. At times this may also include handing over work to a Creative Developer or other members of the Vista Health team.

**Support**

Support is provided in the form of internal and external training programmes where a need is identified. In addition, colleague support is essential. The Lead Designer must be confident in seeking support or clarity, where required.
