We are seeking a meticulous and proactive **Accountant / Junior Accountant** to join our corporate secretarial and corporate services team. The role involves handling accounting, bookkeeping, tax, and administrative tasks for a portfolio of clients, along with supporting corporate secretarial functions.
**Key Responsibilities**
**1. Accounting & Bookkeeping**
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for clients.
- Prepare and process journal entries, bank reconciliations, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Assist in preparation of income tax and GST computations and filings.
**2. Tax Compliance**
- Prepare and file corporate income tax returns (Form C/C-S) in compliance with IRAS requirements.
- Prepare and file GST returns, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Liaise with clients for necessary tax-related information and documents.
**3. Corporate Secretarial Support**
- Assist in company incorporation processes and maintain statutory registers.
- Draft and prepare board resolutions, minutes of meetings, and other statutory documents.
- File annual returns and other statutory submissions with ACRA.
**4. Client Liaison & Administrative Support**
- Communicate with clients to gather necessary documents and information.
- Assist with preparation of agreements, letters, and other client documentation.
- Coordinate and liaise with regulatory authorities (ACRA, IRAS, etc.) as required.
- Provide general administrative support related to client accounts and corporate records.
**Requirements**:
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related discipline.
- 2-3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience (corporate secretarial firm experience preferred; fresh graduates with relevant skills may be considered for Junior Accountant role).
- Knowledge of Singapore corporate, tax, and GST regulations is an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, MYOB).
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with clients and internal teams.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Pay: $2,500.00 - $4,000.00 per month
