Thurlestone Shipping (S) Pte Ltd offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced,dynamic environment supporting the broking team. We are a dynamic and growingshipbroking team specializing in the Drybulk Market. Our fast-paced desk handles high-value transactions, and we are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented **Desk Support**professional to help streamline our daily operations with the Panamax Desk.

Based in our Clarke Quay office, this is a crucial support position within our brokerageteam. You will be responsible for managing and updating key market information,ensuring brokers have accurate, real-time data at their fingertips. This is not a sales rolebut a critical operational position that helps the desk function efficiently.

What you'll be doing
- **Market Data Management -**Collect, update, and distribute daily marketintelligence, including freight rates, vessel positions, and fixtures.
- **System & Database UpdatES**- Maintain and organize internal databases to ensurebrokers have quick access to relevant information.
- **Broker Support**- Provide administrative and operational assistance to brokers,helping them focus on deal-making.
- **Process Improvement**- Identify and implement efficiencies in how data is handledand shared.

What we're looking for
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong Excel and data management skills (experience with CRM tools a plus).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle time-sensitive updates.
- Experience in shipping, commodities, finance, or data entry is advantageous but not
- essential.
- A proactive mindset - someone who takes ownership of their work and seeks
- continuous improvement.
- Ideally 1-2 years' experience in an administrative or support role otherwise fresh
- graduates are welcome
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and detail oriented
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- A proactive and flexible approach, with a keen eye for detailInterest or experience in the shipping industry would be an advantage
