We work on a wide-range of technologies: web, mobile, AI, blockchain, cloud, microservices & middlewares, security & infrastructure, etc.

Slash has headquarters in Singapore and community-oriented R&D hubs in Phnom Penh, Yerevan, Bali, Yogyakarta, Jakarta and Bandung. We are a team of 50+ entrepreneurs, engineers, hackers, and full-stack developers with unique capabilities in web, mobile, AI, and Blockchain.

**Role and responsibilities, and how will the role impact Slash?**:

- Develop and maintain robust backend systems using Symfony Framework and PHP.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate APIs and ensure seamless user experiences.
- Ensure scalability, security, and maintainability in all codebases.
- Stay updated on the latest technologies and integrate best practices in development processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, solution architects, and scrum masters, to ensure project alignment and success.

**Requirements**:
**How do you know if you are a good fit?**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Positive attitude, independence, inner drive to become successful
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English. Ability to talk to international clients
- Tech savvy (up to date with the latest trends)
- Proactive, confident, doesn’t shy away from responsibility, takes full ownership
- Ability to coordinate and communicate with diverse teams and individuals (e.g solution architects, product managers, scrum masters, developers, customer service, and clients)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience PHP backend development, with at least 2 years in Symfony Framework.
- Experience with API design, event-driven architecture, and microservices.
- Experience of front-end technologies (React.js, NextJS or similar) is an advantage.
- Advanced knowledge of using AWS cloud on configuration, deployment, CI/CD, and Lambda is a good plus.
- Hands-on experience with containerisation technology such as Docker.
- Good architecture design experience: Microservice, Domain design, Event-Driven experience
- Have a knowledge of drawing system architecture, sequence flow diagram
- Keen interest in learning about other technologies (such as NextJS, RabbitMQ, ExpressJS, MongoDB, Serverless, Machine Learning, Blockchain, etc)
