We are now looking for a qualified individual to join UOI as **Administration Officer **in **Underwriting Division **.

**Responsibilities**:
**_Administrative Support _**
- Ensure that the information reflected in the policy documents are correct and accurate
- Ensure that risk accumulation (blocking) of certain classes (e.g., Fire, Marine, Bond etc) are done accurately, in accordance with the Company’s table of limits
- Arranging of surveys
- Design and maintain the document filing system
- Prepare and collate data for reports to be submitted to Management
- Ensure adequate supplies to facilitate workflow and activate reminder / update system when necessary
- Ensure equipment are in good order and liaise with the House Committee for maintenance and repair as and when required
- Collate, analyse and present data for underwriting purposes

**_Customer Service Support _**
- Handle enquiries on the classes of business underwritten in the Division
- Evaluate risks with pre-determined rating tables and provide quotations in accordance with the Company’s underwriting policy and limits
- Process renewals and follow up with customers and intermediaries on non-renewal cases

**_Supervisory _**
- Provide induction and training to Administrative Assistants as and when required
- Supervise and ensure the quantity and quality of the documents processed are within acceptable standards
- Determine priorities or special requirements for policy documentation to meet policy fulfilment standards

**Requirements**:

- Minimum GCE ‘O’ Level
- At least 3 years of relevant working experience
- Possess Certificate in General Insurance
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
