Job Overview: As the Retail Shop Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our flagship store's operations, with a strong emphasis on driving sales and delivering an exceptional customer experience. You will lead a team of skilled sales associates and work closely with corporate headquarters to achieve sales targets, maintain visual merchandising standards, and cultivate long-term customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Management:Set ambitious sales goals and develop strategies to achieve and exceed them.
Lead by example and actively engage in selling luxury skincare products.
Train and motivate the sales team to maximize their potential and meet sales targets.
Analyze sales data and implement appropriate measures to optimize sales performance.
Monitor inventory levels, identify best-selling products, and recommend stock replenishment.
- Customer Experience:Foster a warm and welcoming shopping environment that reflects our luxury brand image.
Provide personalized skincare consultations and recommendations to customers.
Ensure exceptional customer service is consistently delivered by the sales team.
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations with professionalism and empathy.
Develop and maintain strong customer relationships through effective follow-up and after-sales support.
- Team Leadership:Recruit, hire, and train a team of knowledgeable and customer-oriented sales associates.
Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and implement development plans.
Foster a positive and collaborative work culture that promotes teamwork and employee engagement.
Coordinate staff scheduling, ensuring adequate coverage during peak business hours.
Organize sales training sessions and product knowledge workshops to enhance the team's expertise.
- Visual Merchandising:Ensure the store maintains a visually appealing and well-organized layout at all times.
Implement and maintain brand visual merchandising guidelines and standards.
Coordinate with the corporate visual merchandising team to create captivating displays.
Monitor stock levels and collaborate with headquarters to plan seasonal promotions and displays.
Conduct regular store walkthroughs to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience as a Retail Shop Manager in the luxury skincare or beauty industry.
- Strong sales orientation with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a sales team.
- Sound knowledge of luxury skincare products, ingredients, and industry trends.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and extended retail hours.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is a plus.
