**Key Responsibilities**:
- Prepare all types of sushi, including maki, nigiri, sashimi, and specialty rolls.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety in compliance with health regulations.
- Ensure ingredients are fresh and properly stored.
- Monitor inventory and place orders for seafood and supplies as needed.
- Innovate and contribute to seasonal or promotional sushi menu items.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sushi station.
- Interact professionally with guests when working in open kitchen or sushi bar environments.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff if required.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or similar role in a Japanese or Asian restaurant.
- Expertise in various sushi types and Japanese cuisine.
- Exceptional knife skills and knowledge of fish cutting and storage.
- Attention to detail and high standards of food presentation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Culinary school diploma or relevant certification is a plus.
