- THE OPPORTUNITY

Reporting Sustaining Manager/Director of Engineering, successful applicant will provide support to the global

business, covering a range of power supply design verification testing, fault finding, repair tasks and alternative

components evaluation during start of mass production till EOL of the product.
- KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- ** **Basic knowledge of key components for SMPS circuit and topologies
- ** **To perform tests and experiments as needed to support or confirm the design with written report. For both the

new product design and legacy product failure analysis
- ** **Winding magnetic components following formal and marked-up drawing. Able to provide feedback to the

design engineer
- ** **Troubleshoot power supplies to identify root cause and provide feedback to Quality, Manufacturing & Design

teams to discuss the solution in order to drive the improvement or design changes
- ** **Soldering skill for board modification
- ** **EMC and thermal test knowledge
- ** **Perform tests and experiments as needed to support or confirm customer issues
- ** **Write & distribute customer failure analysis reports
- ** **Alternative components evaluation
- ** **Supporting on equipment annual calibration and general house keeping
- KEY QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- ** **Proven experience with power supply fault analysis and repair within a power supply environment
- ** **Understanding of Manufacturing Process, Test, Quality and Change Management Process
- ** **Failure Analysis and Critical Thinking. Familiar with analysis techniques (8Ds, Fish bone, DFX etc)
- ** **Good Technical writing capability
- ** **Good communication skills and team player
- ** **Presentation skill and Time Management
